Susannah Donaldson, 52, lost control of her SUV on Feb. 9; the SUV collided with Ingrid Williams’ vehicle. The deadly impact occurred as Donaldson was going 78 mph in an area of Oklahoma City where the speed limit is 40 mph.

Donaldson died at the scene. Ingrid Williams, 44, was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. She died a day later.
Monty Williams said at his wife’s funeral that neither he nor his family hold any ill will toward Donaldson.
Williams, who was the Pelicans’ coach for five seasons before being fired after last season, has taken a leave of absence for the rest of the season to grieve the loss of his wife and the mother of his five children.
