In Dokkan Battle, players can collect a wide variety of characters to create their dream teams. Among these Dragon Ball Zfan-favorites are INT Characters, known primarily for their intelligence and genius in battle. For players who want to prove intellect is just as important as strength in combat, who are the best picks?
10 Demon Of Destruction And Vengeance Super Garlic Jr.
One of Goku’s great enemies returns in the form of Garlic Jr., who’s managed to assume a super form after attaining power. Known in Dokkan Battle as Demon Of Destruction And Vengeance Super Garlic Jr., this unit boasts a lot of potential in combat. His Death Impact (Super ATK) gives him a massive ATK boost while dealing supreme damage to foes, and Avenging Defeat (Passive) allows him to stun Super-type enemies.

This is an excellent support-tank unit, capable of both tanking damage and stunning foes. Moreover, his kit allows him to heal and prepare set-ups for allies, allowing them to take down enemies much faster.
9 Battle To Reach The Top Super Saiyan Vegeta
While Goku achieves a unique Super Saiyan 4 form first in Dragon Ball GT, Vegeta is no slouch in proving his skills in combat. The game shows this through one of its Vegeta units. His Galick Gun (Super ATK) can boost his DEF and ATK greatly, while dishing out an attack that can also lower the enemy’s DEF. Meanwhile, Unrelenting Final Shine Attack (Active) can cause ultimate damage to enemies through a massive ATK boost.
Based on the stats and synergies alone, this iteration of Vegeta boasts a great tanking skill set as well as single-damage devastation. His Links are also great, in that there are a lot to accompany him in terms of teams. However, a lot of his ATK boosts do demand a “GT” archetype ally, and there aren’t many of these available in the game.
8 Eerie Sense Of Despair Frieza (3rd Form)
Prior to his full transformation, Frieza assumes a third form that boasts incredible speed, giving the Z Fighters an eerie sense of despair. In the game, this takes the form of Eerie Sense Of Despair Frieza (3rd Form). His Crazy Finger Beam (Super ATK) boosts hs DEF while dealing great damage to enemies, while Super Monster (Passive) boosts his ATK and DEF while increasing the chances of dishing out more attacks in the same turn.
This iteration of Frieza boasts a lot of Links with other villains, as well as the capacity to become a powerful tank and heavy-hitter. Unfortunately, his abilities only apply to limited numbers of allies, meaning players need to carefully curate this unit to a particular build.
7 True Warrior Race Super Saiyan God SS Evolved Vegeta
While Goku achieves Ultra Instinct after immense fights in Dragon Ball Super, Vegeta achieves his own powered-up Super Saiyan God iteration. The game shows this through this Vegeta unit. The abilities Pride Of Our Warrior Race (Super ATK) and Final Flash (Ultra Super ATK) can deal devastating damage while boosting the chance of criticals in a turn. Likewise, Power To Keep Promises (Passive) can revive Vegeta for a surprise comeback.

From a technical standpoint, this Vegeta iteration boasts a great tanking and damage toolkit. His skills also support his potential for sustainability, especially since he’s capable of withstanding KO attacks. Unfortunately, he isn’t as compatible with “Warrior Gods” and “Super Saiyans” as fans would like.
6 Instinctive Destruction Legendary Super Saiyan Broly
Despite the sheer havoc Broly can wreak as the Legendary Super Saiyan, he’s extremely adept and quick in thinking when it comes to combat. This is reflected in the game’s representation of Broly. His Gigantic Meteor (Super ATK) boosts his ATK before dealing massive damage to enemies, while Fiendish Destruction (Passive) reduces his damage taken while boosting the chances of his attacks becoming Supers.
The Legendary Super Saiyan is a behemoth in both ATK and DEF, making him a decent tank. Not to mention, the popularity of Saiyan units means Broly has a lot of units to counter. Sadly, Broly can’t live up to his potential due to the lack of Links.
5 Strike Of Full Anger Super Saiyan Goku
When Krillin dies at the hands of Frieza, this is the spark of rage Goku needed to fully tap into his Saiyan heritage and transform into a Super Saiyan. The game captures this moment with its representation of Super Saiyan Goku. Fierce Hand-To-Hand Battle (Super ATK) and Super Kamehameha (Ultra Super ATK) boosts either DEF or ATK before dealing devastating damage to opponents, while The Super Saiyan’s Final Showdown (Passive) can dish out extra Super attacks for a devastating finish.
Stats-wise, this Goku iteration is a great tank and damage-dealer, especially when Linked with the right individuals. He can stack DEF and ATK ad infinitum with the right combination, allowing for exponential damage growth. Unfortunately, his specialization against Frieza opponents makes his damage output less than optimal.
4 Saiyan Pride Vegeta/Goku
During their first encounter, Vegeta shows scorn in how Goku strives to defend Earth despite his heritage. This is reflected in the game with Saiyan Pride Vegeta/Goku. His Massacre Breaker (Super ATK) and Amazing Impact (Ultra Super ATK) cause colossal damage to foes while raising both his ATK and DEF. Not only that, but Vegeta’s Pride (Passive) allows him to “revive” by switching places with Goku at certain HP levels.
This unit is both a tank and damage-dealer, capable of withstanding hits while taking on aggro from most opponents. However, the unit’s ability to switch into a Super Unit disables Goku’s chances of benefiting from his skills. There also aren’t a lot of enemies form the Planet Namek Saga to take advantage of the full brunt of their skills.
3 Fused Super Power Super Saiyan Goku & Super Saiyan Vegeta
There’s no denying that the unity between rivals Goku and Vegeta make them a force to reckon with, and the game shows this moment through this fused unit. Their Kamehameha & Big Bang Attack (Super ATK) and Final Strategy (Ultra Super ATK) boosts ATK and causes colossal damage to enemies. Their Strongest Duo (Passive) may allow them to Potara Fusion and gain exponential boosts to their abilities.

This unit makes for a great all-rounder, especially with their recovery abilities helping turn the tide in a difficult match. Not only that, but they Link with a lot of characters easily. Unfortunately, their time-dependent Transformation means players need to delay combat to make meaningful use of their toolkit.
2 Brief Paternal Moment Majin Vegeta
In one of the most tear-jerking moments in the series, Majin Vegeta shares a moment with his young son Trunks before incapacitating him, ensuring he won’t get hurt in the ensuing events. His Final Impact (Super ATK) allows him to boost his ATK and DEF while damaging enemies with great numbers, while Vegeta’s Resolve (Passive) can decrease damage taken provided Trunks is in his team.
Stats-wise, Brief Paternal Moment Majin Vegeta is probably the most powerful Extreme INT unit. He’s an amazing tank with great damage potential. Unfortunately, relying on Trunks in his team is a huge setback, proving his unremarkable set of Links. Additionally, while his Active Skill might be powerful, it also costs a great deal of HP.
1 Opening Of A Super Godly Fight Super Saiyan God SS Goku/Super Saiyan God SS Vegeta
It’s one thing to see Goku and Vegeta united in an effort to save the Earth and the universe, and another thing to see the two of them give their all in the fight. The game shows this through another Goku/Vegeta fusion. Their Super God Flash (Super ATK) gives an immense ATK boost alongside devastating damage, and Let’s Do This Without Any Reservations (Passive) not only has a chance of giving them extra attacks, but may also transform them into Supers.
This is probably one of the best Super INT units in the game. This unit tanks very well and has a lot of damage boosts, alongside an accessible Active Skill. Unfortunately, the additional boosts from both Goku and Vegeta only last a few turns, meaning they need to maximize the buff time to make this unit efficient.
